Coroa is a packaging design exploration for the Atilier of Iris van Herpen. Encased in a biophormic matrix, Coroa adorns the apple’s familiar form, endowing the object with newfound grandour. Coroa’s regal, sculptural structure cradles the apple with visual tension, as the tenderness of the fruit is juxtaposed with the sharp, exacting edges of its forms.
